Hope Cupboard: Resources that helped to take pressure off of women and girls, including, toiletries, household items, diapers, school supplies and Christmas toys.
After School Programs: We provide after-school programming to girls throughout several Chicago communities, engaging girls 6-15.
Camp Namaste: We offer a compressive yoga camp during the summer to girls ages 7-13 years of age, while pairing them with a young adult mentor between the ages of 16-24.
She Chose to Breathe: She Chose to Breathe is a wellness campaign dedicated to encouraging and empowering Women of Color(WOC) to stand in their truths while moving beyond stigmas associated with mental health and depression.
Circle of Hope: Circle of Hope classes, are confidential classes that marry a more traditional supportive, group sharing experience with that of more “classical”, trauma informed yoga class that is specifically designed to be sensitive towards those individuals that have experienced trauma or have struggled with its’ effects. (Currently being ran inside of the Juvenile Temporary Detention Center.)
Coming soon: We are excited to implement our Trauma focused yoga teacher training designed to support marginalized women of color with the tools needed to heal from their traumas while empowering them with the tools needed to engage other women along their journey
*Our desire is to not only remind our participants that there is hope for the future, but to also equip them with the tools necessary to take the first step towards their goal.
